During the visit, the children had the opportunity to interact and play with other kids who were forced to leave their homes due to the conflict. They met with children who had lost family members or were struggling with trauma and sickness, but despite these challenges, they were still just children who had the same aspirations and rights as any other child. PEOPLE magazine reported that Shiloh had been to a refugee camp twice before, but it was Zahara’s first visit to such a place at the age of 13, while Shiloh was 11.
