Superstars Beyoncé and Katy Perry showed some — okay, a lot — of skin at last night’s MTV Europe Music Awards, with both divas donning this season’s lingerie look.
Beyoncé’s bustier was fire-engine red and she paired it with fingerless gloves, gartered stockings and pumps, while Katy opted for a burgundy corset with sparkly accents and thigh-high boots.
Kicking off the raunchy theme that would dominate the ceremony, singer and host Katy Perry took to the stage asking: “Are you feeling Sєxy, Berlin?”
Dressed in a a bowler hat, thigh-high boots and a heart on her knickers for a Cabaret-style medley performance of When Love Takes Over and Poker Face, Katy – who was hosting the bash for the second year – joked: ““Last year I popped my MTV cherry.”
The event is one of the music world’s most glitzy bashes and was being held in Berlin this year to mark the 20th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall, a potent Cold War symbol.
The daring 25-year-old later took to the stage atop a giant red-glittered shoe, dressed in a black playsuit complete with beaded neck-detailing and knee-high boots.
Addressing the rumours surrounding Lady GaGa – who has been plagued by speculation she is a hermaphrodite, the cheeky star quipped: “They say if men have big shoes, they have big… The confusing thing is I borrowed this from Lady Gaga!”
Katy then went on to flaunt her curves in a figure-hugging blue sparkling gown and at one point sailed over the stage in a swing while dressed in a bandeau corseted white dress with a tutu skirt.
