She even ended up calling out MCU star, Scarlett Johansson for constantly entertaining people to prove her talent.
Megan Fox Wouldn’t Become Like Scarlett Johansson
In a 2009 interview with Esquire,Megan Foxaddressed the general conception of people regarding actors that they are without brains. She shared at the time,
“Actors aren’t necessarily the most intelligent guys you’re ever gonna come across.”
She continued,
“They’re so easily manipulated that if you have any sort of control over your own Sєxuality, they’re just f****d.”
Commenting on handling her label as a Hollywood s*x symbol, she felt offended by actress, Scarlett Johansson who continuously proves herself in the industry.
“I don’t want to have to be like a Scarlett Johansson – who I have nothing against – but I don’t want to have to go on talk shows and pull out every single SAT word I’ve ever learned to prove, like, ‘Take me seriously, I am intelligent, I can speak.’”
She hated the idea of having to prove her intelligence every time as she continued,
“I don’t want to have to do that. I resent having to prove that I’m not a retard — but I do. And part of it is my own fault.”
It is clear that she knows her worth and condemns the idea of actors being judged for their intelligence. Not just that, but she also commented on disliking the idea of being called Sєxy.
Megan Fox Hates Being Called Sexy
While she is renowned for her beauty, in an old interview withPEOPLE,she opened up about being embarrᴀssed for being Sєxy.
“I’m in a situation where I get lots of compliments all the time. I’m very lucky. People tell me that I am beautiful and that I am Sєxy all day but I hate it.”
She opened up about having difficulty to react on the compliments.
“I don’t know how to react. It’s embarrᴀssing. How would you feel if people called you the most Sєxy person in the world ALL day? It’s strange, you know.”
Despite the accolades and тιтles, she was grounded as she acknowledged the fact that she got fame due to her being selected in the famous Transformers franchise. She only appeared in the first two movies in the sci-fi action series. After she shared negative comments about the director, Michael Bay, shortly after, she was separated from the franchise.
